Welcome to the Douglas County Scottish Society website.  Check out the links above for general information, how to participate, event schedules and a list of our sponsors!

WHAT'S GOING ON:
Our initial 2008 Games meeting was Feb. 23rd .  If you are interested AT ALL in helping with the games, please call Ray and watch this area for the meeting time and place.  There are small jobs and big jobs to be assigned and carried out.  You don't need to be a member to help!  You don't need to come to every meeting to help!  We need volunteers to commit early so that the 2008 Games can proceed without a hiccup.
Please volunteer so that we don't have to hire an Event Organizer who could cost a pretty penny!

About the DC Scots
The Douglas County Scottish Society was founded in 1991 by a number of like-minded Scottish individuals for the purpose of celebrating and sharing Scottish culture.  Since then the Society has grown into a group of over 100 members that supports Celtic culture in Douglas County.  The DCSS is a non-profit organization and accepts donations to support the Celtic Heritage Sponsorship Fund and the Celtic Highland Games & Clan Gathering.  We meet on the third Friday of every month.
